Wielding decades of experience in real estate—particularly commercial construction, multi-unit residential projects, and remodels, repairs, and interior flips for numerous franchises—John Daniel Boyd has excelled as the chief executive officer at C&C Builders LLC since 2022. Mr. Boyd, who embarked on his real estate development journey more than 20 years ago, previously served as the vice president of construction at a prominent developer, through which he oversaw the construction of such ventures as Dollar General, Starbucks, Burger King, El Pollo Loco, Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, and the redevelopment of second-generation strip malls. Additionally, he was involved in ground-up strip malls and climate-controlled self-storage facilities across several states. He ultimately decided to pursue independent endeavors, becoming a preferred contractor for Dollar Genera—and completing projects that normally take years in mere weeks. He has also owned and operated multiple residential and commercial properties over the years.
Attributing his success to his family and faith, Mr. Boyd also prepared for his career by serving eight years in the Marine Corps, where he specialized in logistics. His extensive education and hands-on experience in the military, he said, equipped him with the skills necessary to excel in his leadership role within the construction company. A member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, the French Quarter Business Association, and the Institute of Real Estate Management, he’s also civically involved as a youth baseball coach and a Boy Scout Leader at Boy Scouts of America.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Boyd is interested in further expanding his business activities by venturing into ownership. He strives to continue providing remodeling, repairs, and other services for current companies while also seeking to broaden his portfolio through collaboration with franchises such as Domino’s. He also plans to invest in property ownership, purchase strip centers to accommodate tenants, and potentially transition into a role as a landlord developer.
Married with two sons, Mr. Boyd enjoys woodworking, hunting, fishing, and going to the beach with his wife in his spare time.

Before beginning his endeavors in the construction domain, Mr. Boyd served for eight years in the United States Marine Corps, where he specialized in logistics. This experience provided him with a strong foundation in leadership and operational efficiency, which he later applied to his roles in construction. His military service remains one of his most significant accomplishments.
In addition to his professional achievements, Mr. Boyd is actively involved in industry-related organizations such as the International Council of Shopping Centers, the French Quarter Business Association and the Institute of Real Estate Management.
